Kuramo Capital Management and The Keffi Group, in collaboration with Ventures Africa Magazine, were honored to host key African government and business leaders at our UN Week Roundtable on September 26, 2013. Held at the Harvard Club of New York, the event brought together over 100 guests, including leading U.S. and global institutional investors and businesses investing in Africa.


Kuramo Capital Management was delighted to have the Coordinating Minister of the Economy of Nigeria, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, as our keynote speaker. Dr. Okonjo-Iweala was previously Managing Director at The World Bank, as well as Finance Minister under the Obasanjo administration. Dr. Okonjo-Iweala is responsible for managing the finances of Africa’s most populous nation and one of the world’s fastest growing economies.


In addition to Dr. Okonjo-Iweala, Kuramo Capital Management was pleased to host a panel discussion featuring the Honorable Henry Banyenzaki, State Minister for Economic Monitoring of Uganda, alongside Strive Masiyiwa, Founder and Executive Chairman of Econet Wireless, and Tony Elumelu, Chairman of Heirs Holdings and The Tony Elumelu Foundation.
